Privacy Policy - Fast Baskit

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose your information when you use Fast Baskit and the Fast Baskit Delivery app, and explains your privacy rights.

By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.


Information We Collect

  • Personal information: Name, email, phone number, delivery address, profile photo.
  • Order data: Purchase history, favorite stores, payment method (we do not store full card details on our servers).
  • Wallet and loyalty: Wallet balance and transaction history if you use these features.
  • Photos: Camera and gallery access for optional profile pictures.
  • Usage data: Device type, IP address, device identifiers, Firebase installation ID, and diagnostic data.
  • Notifications: FCM device token for order and promotional alerts (can be disabled in device settings).
  • Communication: Support or in-app chat messages with stores or delivery partners when enabled.

Data may be stored on our servers or with service providers. You can control some permissions (location, camera, notifications) in your device or app settings.


Location Data

For Fast Baskit customers

We request precise or approximate location to enable delivery, map your delivery address, and track active orders. Location is used so delivery partners can deliver your order to you.

We only collect or share location after your consent. You may stop sharing or delete location data in app settings at any time. Without location permission, you may not be able to complete delivery orders that require it.

During an active order, you can view the delivery partner’s location on the map for estimated arrival time.

For Fast Baskit Delivery partners

We may collect delivery partner location even when the app is closed or not in use while an order is active or while you are online to receive orders.

Location is shared only after your explicit consent and can be turned off in the app at any time. It is shared with the customer who placed the order in Fast Baskit so they can see your position and estimated arrival time.

Location is also used to assign orders to nearby partners and improve delivery times. Deliveries to customers cannot be completed without background location sharing while fulfilling an active delivery. If you do not agree to share location, your position will not be shared with customers, but you will not be able to accept and complete orders that require this feature.

We do not use location data for marketing purposes.


Payment Data

When you place an order, you choose an available payment method (e.g. cash on delivery, wallet, or online payment via approved gateways). Fast Baskit does not store full credit or debit card details on our servers; online transactions are processed through approved payment providers using industry-standard security.


How We Use Your Data

  • Provide and maintain our services: Orders, delivery, and support.
  • Manage your account: Registration, login, and account settings.
  • App functionality: Identification by stores and delivery partners to fulfill orders.
  • Contract performance: Completing purchases and deliveries you request.
  • Contact you: Order notifications and offers (you may opt out of marketing where available).
  • Analytics and improvement: Understanding usage and improving the experience.
  • Legal compliance: Meeting legal obligations and protecting rights.

Sharing Information

  • Service providers: Such as Firebase (notifications/analytics) and Google Maps (maps/location).
  • Stores and delivery partners: Only data needed to prepare and deliver your order.
  • Other users: Customers see delivery partner location only during active delivery.
  • Business transfers: Merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with appropriate notice.
  • Legal compliance: When required by law or to protect our rights.
  • With your consent: For any other purpose you explicitly approve.

Data Retention

We retain personal data as long as necessary for the purposes in this policy, to comply with law, or resolve disputes. Usage data is generally kept for a shorter period unless a longer retention is legally required.


Data Transfer

Your information may be processed on servers inside or outside your country. By using the service, you consent to such transfer subject to reasonable security measures.


Deleting Your Data

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data. Update your information in app account settings or contact us. We may retain certain data when legally required.


Data Security

We use commercially reasonable security measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.


Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed at anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such data without parental consent, we will take steps to delete it.
